Spirited Sons - Garage Sale Weekend

Welcome to My Blog!

Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for! I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all! This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here. Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Garage Sale Weekend

Well, this is it. I'm working really hard to get everything out to the garage. It's a lot of work, of course, but if it lightens my load, it's all worth it! Please pray much of my stuff finds a new home with someone who needs and wants it. My goal is to have very little left at the end . . . for everyone's benefit.

On a different note, we were all outside in the yard, and forgot to watch the sheltie (who is small enough to walk through our fence). Ugh! A small amount of fear and 15 minutes later, he found us. There we were driving the other neighborhood next to ours, and he recognized our car and voices and came running. (Thank you, God!) Ah. We have a sheltie. He's pretty smart at times. Now he's got a gleam in his eye I can't quite peg. He looks like he really enjoyed his little walkabout. :'P The stinker!

Stinker, indeed! And I have prayed for your garage sale. You can always take what is left and donate it. Then your garage will be cleared for sure!

Hey, we are having our garage sale too. Isn't it so much work!!!!! Our town actually has them on Thursdays as well so we did it Thursday and didn't do to well, last time our Thursday was WAY BIGGER than our Saturday, I am praying that is not the case this time, we still have SOOOO Much stuff to get rid of. I will pray yours go well and you can pray for mine. Let me know how it goes, OK? Talk To you soon!

Hope you had a successful weekend sale!

When our dog got out of our yard, he seemed mighty impressed with himself as well. It's kind of like a teenage figuring out how to sneak out without mom & dad knowing ;)
