Welcome to My Blog!
Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for!
I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all!
This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here.
Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do!
Blessings!

Fifteen Minutes of Fame. . .or More
Posted in Blog Universe Things
I'm contemplating the potential consequences of my blog. You see, I don't feel I'm impacting much of me in the process of blogging. I'm not sure I've even considered it much more than therapeutic in nature. This is the itch I need to scratch for my own personal heart that strives to live in written communication . . . in full sentences . . . with adults . . . and the sentences don't really need to contain the word "no" all that often as a general rule. This is my little "happy place" that other people talk about. At least, it is most of the time. ;')
However, I find I have to consider my kids in all of this. Don't we all?
You know you're a blogger when . . .
Your kids say, "Blog *this*, Mom!" Or, perhaps a set of eyes over your shoulder catches a glimpse of the brown and tan entry text box, and the eyes simply *must* know who is the topic of the entry. Should those eyes see the right name in the entry, this elicits dancing and rejoicing and the goofiest response.
Is it possible that my sons are rather getting their fill of themselves in their "fifteen minute of fame" (or a bit more) in the Blog Universe?
Oh, my. I think they think themselves famous . . . and they are (at least to me). At the very least, if they feel loved, I'm pretty okay with it!
I love my Bell Pepper and Habanero!
For all the "fodder" and blog therapy they provide me, I am truly grateful!
*grin*
