Jun. 14, 2007 - More thoughts
Now I have just read an interesting article, "Let's build people, not programs." from the Home School Digest. I feel right now that my family goes to church in the van together and then we seperate and head in different directions. Only to meet up at the end to load back up and head home. I want my kids to be able to particapte in the worship service. I want us to be together in our worshipping of the Lord. I think I have become relaxed in the teaching of my children and have let whatever they learn in Sunday School be enough. I myself don't sit through a sermon and I think I need to start with me leading a good example. I have friends starting a new church and I am drawn to it. But how to leave a church I have been a member of for 8 years. This will be an interesting process that the Lord will lead me through. Praying for wisdom, and seeking guidance.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've been round and round on the "what church should look like" topic. My mind totally reels. I'll be interested to see where your journey takes you. Keep us posted! Read any more of that book? I want to read that, too...
