Mar. 11, 2006 - All for a Dollar
What are you willing to pay a dollar for? My friends laught at me, but I pay a dollar for each succesful hit of a bucket or toilet when my kids have that nasty vomit bug. Currently I owe my daughter $3 and the night isn't over yet. I may be out a few dollars but to me it is the best thing money can buy. I don't have to smell, clean or see it. My kids have learned at a young age to run for all its worth to the bathroom. Sometimes they go to bed with a bucket just in case. Being the mother of 4 children, I haven't cleaned vomit in about 5 years. To me that is a good record woth paying for.

This from a woman who, on my surprise visit from six hours away, did not say she was glad to see me. Instead she said, "Shoot! I mailed your Christmas card this morning. If I'd known you were coming I could have saved thirty-seven cents!!"
I am totally rolling, Stacey. Your are hilarious (and brilliant, as always). I hope your dd feels better soon.

Thanks so much for the pics of Maggie's b-day party--they're awesome and I love them. Tell me how much I owe you!!! It could help to defray the cost of your anti-puke-cleaning-up efforts.
