This e-book is perfect for me. It’s exactly what I’d been missing. I wanted something modern, some way to give ideas about how to do nature study with my children in this century. Don’t get me wrong, I like the old fashioned stuff but I wanted real life application and ideas on how to do this now, with my children.

This e-book contains lots of fabulous stories about how other families study nature. They’re all different. There are so many creative moms out there it’s so nice to take a peek into someone else’s homeschool and see how they do it.

There are lists of what to bring on your nature outings, ideas on where to go, how to spice up nature study lessons…One mom even tells how she started over after taking the fun out of nature study for her children. Ideas on how to make a nature notebook if that’s something you need help with. Some chapters give specific reference book names or websites. It’s just what I needed to reignite my interest in nature study.

What’s really funny is we had a discussion at the beginning of this school year on one of the MFW groups about this very issue. I’m going to have to tell my group about this book. It’s exactly what many of us were looking for.

This book has actually helped relieve some of the pain of our upcoming move. I love my little valley here and didn’t want to leave it, but Creative Nature Study has got my mind spinning with ideas on how to have fun with my children in the new area we’re going to be living in. It’s given me inspiration about how to explore nature wherever we go and now I’m almost excited to get there and discover another part of God’s creation all over again. What a blessing once again to be chosen to review another wonderful product.

Oh of course! You can mention my baby boy Peter any time you want, anywhere you want. :D Bereaved mommas don't usually get a chance to brag about their babies and bust out the baby book, yk? It's so nice to have someone bring him up. I jump at the chance to talk about him. Thank you for giving me that chance and thank you even more for the thoughts and prayers. :D

This post really isn't about your review. I hope that is ok with you….

I was on the TOS Crew site and found your page for your precious son, Peter James. I just wanted you to know I was touched by your story.

So, fellow TOS Crew mom, you are on my mind and in my prayers.

    Lisa C.

This was a fun one to review. Anyone have any idea if this has been released yet and how much?lol. I'd like to recommend it to my online MFW groups but I like to mention cost as well. Of course, being a TOS e-book, I'm sure it won't break the bank, they're always very reasonable but still, in this economy, price is one of the first questions people ask. :)

Thanks for reviewing it. I think this one could be really beneficial to us. We don't really have an excuse since we have about 300 acres of woods right behind our house (no, we don't own it, but the owners don't care if we walk through it).
