Mar. 3, 2008 - Leagues
Leagues was the best meet ever! It was so worth the drive of about an hour and fifteen minutes.I of course first swam my 50 breaststroke in my relay and I think I got my best time in my 50, Our relay did awesome. Then I got ready to swim my 200 freestyle. I was thinking before I swam that its my last meet so I need to try my hardest and try to get the best time I can get. Well I did. I got a 2:28.18!!!!!!!!!I got under 2:30!!!! And I won my heat and got a heat winner ribbon!!!! I am so happy and excited. My cap didn't fall off or my goggles which is a huge relief. Our relay also did an awesome job in the 200 freestyle relay. We dropped off 6 seconds all together and I got my best 50 freestyle time ever. My asthma didn't bother me at all that whole day,too. Before Leagues, our teamgot a water bottle and took some of the water in our pool and put it in the bottle. Then we poured it into the pool at Leagues because our pool has "fast water" in it. I guess it worked!
So, I'm happy. I got 12th place out of 24 girls so thats pretty good. The cool thing is that I was in the first heat (the slowest) and since I got such a good time, I beat some of the girls in the faster heats too. I am so happy. The funny thing is that the lady who was timing me was like before I swam,"Okay, how about we try for a 2:35?" and I was like,"Okay." Then when I finished she was like,"Oh my goodness! You dropped 10 seconds!" I knew I could get better then 2:35 so I think that helped me a little to swim fast so I could prove to her I could get better then that, or something.
Last year Leagues was at that exact same pool and I got my best time in the 200 there. Maybe there's just something about that pool.

Sounds like you should have taken some of the water from that pool.
Well Congrads. I am so glad you did you very best. It feels gooood doesn't it.
I can't wait to see you next month. We are going to have to plan some really cool stuff.

cool Yay not much going on here I am just reading and playing outside latey and boring old school work LOL do you like school. I don't I think it is boring beond beleaf LOL do you play any sports?? I play karate and I take piano lesons. They are both super fun. well TTYL oh PS if you want some help with your blog I can change the background if you want me too but it you like that witch I think that is the cutest thing ever you should keep it.

same here What is your fave subject in school if there is one??? Mine would have to be sience. I love it a lot I like space it makes you feel to tiny when you think about it. we are like adem siced compared to a star or something out there!!!! lol so do yo like space???
Oh yay I should have geused that you swim because of the swimchick thing LOL sorry I can be weird sometimes.
