Jun. 6, 2008 - A Lot to Say
I have A LOT to write about!
First of all, my camping trip that we took over Memorial Day weekend was great! We camped at Carter Caves in Kentucky with my cousins and we had a blast. The caves were amazing! Since it had rained that week, in some spots in the caves, the water came over your knees! You also had to stoop really low in some spots and even crawl. It was so much fun. We tried swimming in the pool that they had at the park, but it was freezing cold. I swam in it longer then my cousins, but after about 10 minutes, I couldn't stand it any longer! We also saw some more of my relatives when we went to visit the grave sites of some of my relatives and it was cool to see them. I had a lot of fun camping.
My birthday was yesterday! I am finally 12. I had so much fun, too! I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie on Tuesday and I thought it was pretty good. I think I liked The Last Crusade better,though. On my actual birthday, I went to McDonalds for lunch (a lot of people think that's weird that that is where I would choose to go of all places on my birthday!) and for dinner, my mom made her really good homemade pizza with french fries and Dr. Pepper (Yay!) to drink. There was also red velvet cake to eat after dinner.
Guess what I got as my present? Tickets to the Jonas Brothers When You Look Me in the Eyes tour!!!!! I am so excited! I'll have to wait awhile, though because they don't come to where I live until August, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. I'm also going to get a PS2 in a week or so that will be part of my present and my brother's to share.
Swimming has also gone very good. The practices are,again, much easier then they were on my old team, but I still love going to practice! So far practice has only been on Saturdays at 10:00 to 12:00, but starting on Monday, practices will be 4 days a week starting at 7:30 in the morning! I'm not looking forward to waking up that early all summer long until August 2! Oh,well.

that is pretty cool... wow Jonas Brothers tickets!!!! i liked them alot before they went disney... but still that is amazing... I remember when i swam... i had to b at the pool at 7:00 am... and i D that. i wanted to sleep... but it turned out to b pretty chill... it got me in shape for soccer.... anyways... i b leaving...

Wow! I hope that you have a great time at the Jonas brother's tour! Funny, I just finished watching a bunch of their videos online!! I am on my swim team again this year. This is my 5th year. We have practice every day, except for Saturday and Sunday. Last night on the meet I was on, I dropped 9.5 seconds on back stroke! I'm still pretty slow, though, because my best time is 50 seconds, and that's not very good... but at least I'm getting better at my flips turns on back stroke!! I hope that you have a great time swimming!
