flames flicker fervently
atop a large white candle.
two halves, now one,
make a smooth white whole.
two wicks, separately lit,
lean toward each other,
not touching, their two lights
joined in one inseparable flame.
a great mystery has occurred:
two wicks produce one flame
two lives become one flesh.

I love the "able to leap towering piles of laundry" from your profile! Glad you're part of the community here at homeschoolblogger. If you have any technical questions check out the forums room. Have you tried the random blog feature? Great way to meet and encourage other bloggers!

I love all your poetry! I write limericks, too. You can see quite a few of them at www.intellectuelle.com. I write a limerick for every one of my entries (it's a group blog).
I'm going to come back often!
