I was one of the first FlyLady subscribers, and I think I was the first to write a FlyLady poem; at least one of the first very few. Two babies later, I am not exactly on the wagon, but perhaps revisiting my Flypast will get me going again. This ditty is to the tune of We Three Kings.
We the SHEs of FlyLady are:
Clutter drifts, and piles form afar!
Laundry mountain, stains past counting,
Doors and drawers all ajar.
Oh, slob of weeks and slob of years,
Slob through joys and slob through tears.
Shoes, routines of morn and evening:
Clean and happy home draws near.
Lists and zones all bless my home
Flings of things and “Nobody moan!”
Keep reminders in your binders
SHEs are no more alone
Oh, slob of weeks and slob of years,
Slob through joys and slob through tears.
Shoes, routines of morn and evening:
Clean and happy home draws near.

Nov. 8, 2005 - LOVE IT!!
Love Flylady and love your poem. I was singing it to myself as I read the words and thinking that I really need to get back flying too. With one daughter getting married next week and a book to write and a son getting married next summer, I better not waste any time to restart my flying lessons. Thanks for the reminder!!

Dec. 8, 2005 - I love FlyLady, but...
if I don't have the time to do all the stuff I'm supposed to do, when am I supposed to read her 37 emails everyday!! (let alone, delete them all !!) Just kidding. I learned a lot from her. But I had to stop the emails. They were too much.
Love your little song!!
Feb. 8, 2006 - I'm a SHE too!
Great poem. I am also a SHE and have been working with the FlyLady system for years. Can't say I've done much improving except that I am aware of my SHE-ness and can, at times, do little things (15 minutes at a time) to get out of my overwhelmed paralysis!
Jun. 18, 2006 - Ha
I love your little ditty. :o)
Enjoy your summer.
