Campamento Familiar T’CHERs 2008
El Campamento Familiar T’CHERs 2008 tendrá lugar en el Balneario de Boquerón del 22 al 24 de febrero de 2008. Ya 14 familias tenemos reservación para este fin de semana de relajación, nos estaremos quedando en los bloques J, K y L. Decídete a hacer tu reservación y pide en Parques Nacionales cabañas cerca de las nuestras. Puedes hacer tus reservaciones en la Internet: http://www.parquesnacionalespr.com/ .
No puedes dejar de formar parte de las actividades que ya van tomando forma. Hasta ahora tenemos confirmadas las siguientes:
• Viernes en la noche: Juegos de mesa
• Sábado:
o Apertura de la Exhibición de Ecología en la cabaña de Ingrid Rodríguez (se anima a los chicos para que creen algo sobre este tema en sus casas y que lo traigan para exhibirlo o pueden hacer dibujos u otra cosa allí mismo.)
o Apertura de la Exhibición de Vida Marina en la cabaña de Oly Soler (se anima a los chicos para que creen algo sobre este tema en sus casas y que lo traigan para exhibirlo o pueden hacer dibujos u otra cosa allí mismo.) También se dará una charla y un paseo guiado.
o Charla sobre reptiles por Rodney Rodríguez
o Macramé por Ruth Martínez
o Kareoke en la cabaña de Ingrid
o Clases/juegos de ajedrez con James Cabán
• Domingo: Reunión General Anual de T’CHERs

You can’t miss the activities that we are planning for this weekend. We have confirmed the following:
• Friday night: Board Games
• Saturday:
o Opening of Ecology Exhibit at Ingrid Rodríguez’s cabana (The kids are encouraged to create something on this theme at home and bring it to
display or they can draw/make something there.)
o Opening of Marine Life Exhibit at Oly Soler’s cabana (The kids are encouraged to create something on this theme at home and bring it to
display or they can draw/make something there.)
o Talk about reptiles by Rodney Rodríguez
o Macramé by Ruth Martínez
o Chess playing/learning by James Caban
o BARGAINS! BARGAINS! BARGAINS! Used book (and other items) will be on sale (and free) throughout the weekend. Bring yours and set them
out in front of your cabaña whenever you want to. Also, whether buying or selling, please bring $$ – singles, fives, quarters, dimes, and nickels
to facilitate shopping. Since these sales are BARGAINS, large bills don’t help much.
• Sunday: T’CHERs Annual General Meeting
Our web site work is coming along quickly and we are excitedly looking forward to its completion. It will have new features, such as: message forums (instead of separate ones at Yahoo), archives to dig through, testimony about teaching methods from those who have used them, and this activity and news blog.
