What you See is Not Usually What is Happening

The girls and I had a play date originally scheduled for Tuesday. Because of the rain, it was cancelled.

Now I wan not upset in the least when this was cancelled - things happen - ESPECIALLY IN CAROLINE COUNTY!   BTW, my oldest developed a cold and her tummy really hurts today and I'm glad to know she did not get anyone sick.

I know our kids have to play - believe me, mine are pretty lonely these days. A lot of their friends have moved or changed churches since we moved to Caroline 4 years ago. They want to make new friends. One of my girls was even talking about going to school so she could play with more friends!  :(   But I am still very glad when God intervenes and protects us from illness or an unknown car accident or something.

It did remind me that there are so many things going on with other people that we may not know about.  The cashier at the store could be going through a divorce. The loan officer could be dealing with a serious illness.

Lord, help us to be sensitive to your Spirit. Help us to share the love of Jesus where ever we go and not just assume that we know the entire situation.

Yes, I'm preaching to myself today. My house has not closed. It's been 2 weeks since it was suppose to close and I'm getting irritated. 2 nights ago I spent hours laying in bed awake saying, “Lord, is this so I can understand what my clients are going through? Do you not want the buyers to buy this house? Is the lender going through a really tough time and can't focus on work?”

Whatever issues we face, Lord, bring your wisdom and understanding!

In Church,Sarah had many friends that are in school. She became fully aware of the difficulties they faced, they wanted more than anything to be homeschooled.Through these times, the girls will grow stronger as sisters, which is a stronger bond than any friendship they could have with friends.Friends come and go,but family is forever. The Lord has had me experience many things,so I could become more compassionate of those that experience similar life trials. As we go through them,we so often do not understand, but through it we find that the Lord's wisdom,in anything life has offered,is beyond our own understanding and has molded us into more than what we could have ever been by our own hands. It develops our faith as we cast our burdens in His Hands and no matter what the outcome,His Will for our life was done.If we don't believe that than we can't believe He is Almighty God and Lord of our lives.
