Yes I know its 2 in the morning and I'm up posting on this thing but I'm not that sleepy. Well.. I guess I should rephrase that, I can't sleep. I was sleepy earlier but not anymore.

Where exactly did the months go? I can't believe it is June already. I'm simply counting down the days still until I get to go to KC for the American Idol concert. August 30th just can't seem to come soon enough.

So I'm taking four classes for school: Math, History, Political Science and English. Quite honestly, English is very interesting. Math is easy. We're just adding and subtracting fractions and stuff. Political Science is interesting. Its cool learning about the government. History is the most boring to me. I don't like learning that stuff and I can't get in to it. I have 2 papers that have to be written by Sunday and they'll probably get done later tonight. Yay procrastination!

The college world series is this weekend and all I have to say is yay! its the only time I like baseball otherwise I could care less. Football is more of my cup of tea anyway.

I have to do a project on a person that intrigues me that lives in my community. Who should I do the project on? Anyone have any ideas? right now I'm thinking I am going to do it on my mother because she is such an interesting and amazing person. But we'll see.

I seriously love my nephews baseball games. Thats the only other time I like baseball. They are all so cute and have the attention spans of a gnat. Its hilarious. They play in the dirt by like the 3rd inning. LOL.

okay guys I need your help on another thing: birthday ideas. I want to know what I should do for my birthday. I'm not kidding, I want comments galore on this. I need birthday ideas.

I want to be in school. I'm being completely honest. I'm not exactly excited about summer school but I'm looking forward to the fall semester. I just want to be in school right now. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.

I'm totally prepared for this interview on Thursday. For those unaware, I have a job interview with a company called Convergys. Basically, people call me and I activate their credit cards. Easy peesy lemon squeezie. I just hope the interview goes well. I'm crossing my fingers.

I'm so glad David Cook won American Idol. And guess who gets to see him and the other idols in Kansas City in August? thats right, me!

Some people, I just don't understand.... =I

Since I've been off of school, its been very relaxing.

Memorial Day is amazing... I love the Veterans. I just love the holiday... though its a somber and sometimes sad occasion, its a good one.

So I need everyones help. I'm turning 22 on July 21st, and my best friend turns 22 on July 24th. Since almost forever, We've always celebrated our birthdays together. Now, I would love everyone to give me some idea of what we can do for our birthdays this year. Brainstorm and think and then comment and tell me some ideas.

I participated in a March on Saturday and boy did it feel good. I love activism. I love fighting for causes and things that should be fought. I can't wait for the school year. I'm going to fight my little heart out.      P.S: I'm a lover, not a figher, but I'll fight for what I love.

My Dads MRI is tomorrow. Good... I want him to feel better.

I'm so glad its summer but I wish the rain would go away. I want the nice weather.

~The title of this post is refering to a typing program we had to use in 5th grade. It was like this keyboarding program that helped us learn how to type with both hands. qaz with the left pinkie(Quick Ask Zoe), wsx with left ring finger(What Stops X-rays), edc with the left middle finger(Even Dogs Can't.) rfvtgb with the left index finger (Red Fish Vanish Then Grow Bigger), yhnujm with the right index finger(Yacks Hear Noises Under Jacks Mattress) ik, with the right middle finger(I Keep Commas), ol. with the right ring finger(Over Long Periods) p with the pinkie (Peanuts) and the spacebar, you use your thumbs. hahaha... that part of fifth grade was quite entertaining. Almost as entertaining as the Spanish fiesta we had. I did spanish all throughout elementary. hola amigos, como estas?

~I am so excited! I found out today that my best friend and I and her mother will be going to Kansas City the weekend of August 29th and are going to be seeing Season 7 of American Idol in Concert and then coming home. YAY! that is gonna be so much fun! I cannot wait! already have the tickets. I love the Davids and I cannot wait to see them and David Cook is absolutely amazing! wooooo hooo!

~I have a meeting at 5 for the Women and Gender studies position. Wish me luck kids. I'm beyond excited. I want this... more than anything. And, I have an interview tomorrow for Convergys. Wish me luck on that too. I need a job.

~My sisters graduation party is a week from Saturday. and I am singing for another graduation party. Its gonna be a marvelous day next Saturday. Actually I'll probably be going bonkers trying to get everything situated. ahhhhh... oh well.

~Alrighty guys, I think I've decided I'm going to go to try and get a ticket for the Jo Bros concert. I think it would be fun.

~I'm addicted to my dance pad game "Into the groove" I play it EVERY day. Its amazing. And I'm addicted to Rock Band. I've never seen a more fun game. I rock at the drums. Guitar Hero is a bad addiction of mine to as is Mario party and practically Nintendo Wii in general. haha... I love video games.

"Bust a move!"

~Fear not kiddos, I am back here and alive and on. I know its taken me centuries to post something. I believe I have not posted in February. I'm sorry ya'll.... sometimes us college students get so busy and wrapped up in our stuff so we don't update. So what is going on with me or at least what has in the last five months?

~Well... the big project my group was planning went wonderful. except one little teeny tiny mishap. My hair caught on fire. Now, hold the phone. no need to freak out because I am doing just fine. I've got a scar on the left side of my forehead but other than that I am good. how did this accident happen you ask? well, I was hugging someone and they had a candle in their hand, the rest is history. If my friend had not started beating my head with his shirt and if I had not had a bandana on a good portion of my head, it would have been a lot worse. it was a second degree burn and I was in the emergency room for like 45 minutes. It was and is all good and has healed quite nicely.

~School is over until June 6th and I passed all my classes quite wonderfully. I thought I was going to fail biology but I did not. thank goodness. I am not a fan of science classes. They may be interesting in some parts but I'm just not good at science. The summer school classes I'm taking starting June 6th are History after 1865, Political Science(think like government), English Composition 1(alot of writing stories.) and Math(yay numbers... ) I genuinely like math to an extent(I can't stand geometry. Algebra... we're all good.) I really do not like history but its a requirement. The good thing about these classes is the only class I have to take at the college is Math. The other 3 classes are online so that means I'm basically teaching myself. How exciting!

~I just applied for 3 jobs. wish me luck that I get them. One of them I really did not to apply for but my friend works there and working with her would be pretty fun.

~I want to get a move on with my music and start back on my songwriting. Problem is, I can't find my songwriting book.

~Hey Jordan, Erin and Matt, next time I see you guys, can you have your mom bring my blue journal book? thanks guys!

~I went to my nephews little league baseball game last week and I tell you it made me want to play on a team. Now, I can't play baseball to save my life. and I think its boring watching it on tv but little league baseball is cute. The only other time I love baseball is the college world series. If I played a sport it would be football or soccer. yes I said it football. I want to be a football player. do you think I can do it?

~The Jonas Brothers are coming here on my birthday. LOL I'm tempted to get a ticket and go to the concert. We'll see though.  But it would be a lot of fun.

~Seriously... all it does is pile up and pile up. I think we're doomed as far as winter is concerned. The groundhog apparently saw its shadow(I didn't even notice groundhog day) but then again, the groundhog always sees its shadow. We're always stuck in this winter mess always. ugh...

~I've been sick the past five days. I don't get sick all that often but when I do, it comes full force and practically knocks me down for days. Today I decided to go to school. The only reason I'm here is because of a wonderful thing called Theraflu. May taste bad at times, but it helps.

~So much to do this month... call the courthouse, send out flyers, make posters, make buttons, do interviews, get stuff situated for the rally. I don't see an end to anything in sight. I still have to make a call to the director about a kick off party in March. Ugh... its not going end at all.

~I seriously can't believe that its 2008 now. I for one think that 2007 flew faster than anything but hey, thats alright. I'm hoping that 2008 is a lot better than 2007 or even the best year yet. We'll see.

~Christmas and New Years was fabulous. I got a bunch of nice gifts and spent New Years staying up til 12 and watching the Rockin New Years Eve show. Poor Dick Clark. He still looks good despite having a stroke. He'll be back in tip top shape in no time I'm sure.

~I've continually been having Smoke on the Water, Iron Man and all those other songs from Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2 in my head. Speaking of, I need to download Fat Lip by Sum 41. What a funny song.

~Books this semester is going to cost an arm and a leg. seriously... Splitting the cost of  books is going to probably be a must this semester. I refuse to spend 500 dollars on books.

~Justice denied... great. One more bad person roaming around free. The Criminal Justice system has some holes and some issues with how they run things. I'm determined to try and change the way they do things.

~Speaking of, I'm beyond ready to take on the Nebraska Senate, not to mention the protest, the TBTN rally and anything else I can get my hands on to further educate and better the world.

~I'm thinking about starting an education/awareness program about womens issues at UNO but I'm not sure yet. Its still in the works. I'll get it planned out.

~Speaking of changing the world, I have to get some things done before a meeting for the rally mentioned above.

~Somehow I manage to neglect this journal. Sorry kids, I'll be much better about it. Or, at the very least, I'll try to be.

~The semester is finally over and I feel like there has been this big weight lifted off of me. I looked at my grades and I'm proud. I'm pretty proud of myself. I certainly could of worked harder in school but I passed and thats what I'm happy about. Next semester, I'm workin myself to the core. For real. I'm going to work myself crazy.

~Christmas was wonderful. I got a mini digital camera, a wheel of fortune game, a cranberry loaf, a starbucks gift card, a boot shaped holder, and tons of other stuff. yay!

~Going out of town was the best idea for Christmas. Can't wait to spend new years with you guys. Love you.

~I'm so glad finals week is here. Another week of school and I'm done for 3 weeks. Good because I'm getting tired of school.

~I need to work out the kinks of Financial Aid before school starts. My stuff is wrong and I can't get in to this math class. I signed up for Biology, Social Work and Social Welfare and a criminal justice class. Thats enough for me. I think I have to take this math test to get in to math. OR I can't take math here and I have to take it at Metro, then I'll need to find something else to add to my list of classes. We'll see, we'll see. *sigh* its always something.

~One final down and another 4 to go this week. Lets hope all goes well on every final. I have some mad studying to do tonight.

~Tomorrow I need to get up early to study for finals. That means I'll be in bed extra early.

~All this planning and finalizing, I hope everything goes well. I'm feeling a bit tense about it because its in only 3 months and we have some planning to show for it but not alot. Good thing Wednesday there is a meeting.

~Christmas Family get together on Sunday was nice. I had a great time and its always nice to see family. The food was absolutely delicious. The white elephant was the most fun. I'm just glad that game was out of my hands. I did not want that. I like the holder thing, more stuff to put more things in. good.

~Finals all this week, Babysitting friday, girls night on Saturday and I'll probably be in fort calhoun for five days. yay!

~Pops concert tomorrow night. Not thrilled about it but it won't be too bad. it shouldn't anyway.

~Best day will be the 28th of this month. I can't wait!

~4:30 this morning I was up all ready to cause a commotion in the stores. LOL. Black Friday is one of my favorite times of the year. Most people would rather be sleeping and I'll admit, I've ditched out on it once to sleep but its tradition for our family and so I fully took it in this year.

~Walmart was crazy.  We got there at 5:15 or so and the line was to the back of the store. Great... so we shopped for a few items and by 6:30, which is when we checked out, the lines were all calm.

~Westlake Hardware was a different story. 6:55 this morning, 5 minutes before it opened, the line was to the end of the parking lot. Sorry Dad, You're not getting your free drill this year.

~Linens and Things is my favorite currently. Thats where my christmas present came from and I'm absolutely excited. Its cute, pink, mini, digital and takes pictures. That's right... mini digital camera! wooo!!

~Worst place of all was Nebraska Furniture Mart. First time was nuts. Couldn't even get a parking spot, people parked on the grass. Good thing Village Inn was nearby to serve us some decent food. Second time going there was fine as far as parking, but insane as far as the checkouts. Seriously, whats with the "pre-line"?  The workers held signs that said "End of Line here" and you had to go in to a "Pre-line" and wait til you could get in an actual line to check out. Sorry its not worth it to stand for an hour or so in the pre line and then stand another two hours in an actual line. We left. LOL

~Haven't slept hardly at all since being home. Probably slept a half hour then watched the Husker game. Honestly, I'm not too disappointed in the outcome of the game. The Huskers brought their A game in the first half. Colorado brought it in the second and the huskers just couldn't keep up. As far as Bill Callahan's fate, or any of the coaching staff for that matter, we'll just have to see tomorrow. You bet your bottom dollar that I'll be eager to see what all happens with that.

~This next week is gonna be so busy and I need to get motivated. Absolutely. Lots of stuff for my group to do, practices and recording sessions galore. ugh! I'm not so excited about these gigs but I keep telling myself  that there is money involved. It helps me be motivated. Sounds sad I know but its true.

~My new favorite song on Disney is "Fuego" by the Cheetah Girls. Really good song!

~Thanksgiving was amazing. I had 2 dinners. One at OCB and the other at Allisons. I was so stuffed but it was good. Especially the mashed Potatoes, the Stuffing and that Pie! Forget the Turkey(I don't eat meat anyways) LOL

~I know it has certainly been a while since I've posted. What since October or something like that? I am far too busy. But I will try to post something intelligent, witty, creative and wonderful in here more often.

~I'm ready for school to be over. Its not fun anymore. Especially Psychology. I'm about done with it.

~Thanksgiving dinner yesterday was... not bad. good food as well! yum yum! good to see everyone too! See ya'll in 4 weeks.

~Group meeting today and can't wait! time to send out addresses! yay!

~Better get hoppin, skippin and jumpin... and I need to find some food too. I'm always hungry. lol bye!

~As much as I love school, I think I'm just about ready to be over. I mean Elementary and Middle School were a breeze. High school wasn't so bad(but it wasn't so great either!) and college is well.... I love it! I really do. I learn all the time and am fascinated by a lot of the things I'm learning. But at the same time, I just want the semester to end. That won't be until December 21st. LONG ways to go.

~I feel pretty productive today though. went to my classes, wrote a couple of emails to some tv shows to see if they could help my group in our quest for funding for our march in April.(haha March in April) but all joking aside, we really need some funding. If anyone has any idea of some really well known organizations, or fundraising ideas or anything we can do to get some funding, let me know. So far the only ideas we have is to work at concession stands for the games at UNO and at the Qwest Center. Other than that, I'm not so sure. I just hope these tv shows I have written to write back. or even call me. I'll gladly talk to them.

~This last week was crazy, insane and stressful. I'm just hoping for a more relaxing week this week but seeing as though I have 3 tests this week, it might be a killer.

~I still have to fill out this loan application and I'm not excited. Who wants to be one of my references? I need 2 and one is going to be my mother. I don't know who the other will be. (I'm just kidding guys, you don't need to be my reference).

~Halloween is slowly coming upon us and while most kids will be out trick or treating and the rest of  my collegiate peers will be out at parties, I am going to be trick or canning with the other people in my group. All that means is that we go door to door and collect canned goods to give to an organization. So Jordan, Erin and Matt, ask your parents for some cans and bring some over the next time you all are over =)

~Costume party Tuesday night. I think I'm going to be a ballerina. We'll see how that goes.

~Time to go study for a test, do some research, email more organizations and get on top of things!

~I've been so busy getting things prepared for my group. Its been a pretty much non stop thing and I don't regret one minute of it. I'm not overwhelmed or anything which is pretty good.  I had the special honor of talking to a special young woman that we want to speak at an event we are putting on. I'm seriously just amazed by her. She is so intelligent and she's down to earth and she is striving for change, which is something that everyone should do. If you don't like something, strive to change it. and so be it because thats what I am doing and thats what others should do.

~I need to read everything for my classes. ugh... its going to be just another week! I'm hoping its not so stressful.

~I'm craving food. Pizza sounds good but so does taco bell and so does a chocolate cake! yum! Okay I just gotta go eat something!

~In my world, things are absolutely fabulous! my group is trying to organize something on my college campus and finally got through to the lady that we wanted to have speak. YES! so I gave her a bunch of info and told her we'd be in touch. I seriously thought I wouldn't get ahold of her. But sometimes, things just turn out wonderfully!

~Had dinner with a friend last night and it turned out great! Not that I thought it wouldn't turn out, but it was just good to see her. We gotta do that again!

~I found the baby bottle pop commercial from the Jonas Brothers online yesterday. Its simply too cute! That Frankie is adorable! I love how his shirt in the video says "Bonus Jonas" hahaha what a cute kid!

~I have the sudden craving for Taco Bell but I don't think I'll go upon my impulses. I eat too much of that stuff as it is. But I do need my caffeine. My name is Tay and I'm a caffeine addict. I proudly admit that. I can't go pretty much a day or two without pop. I had starbucks for the first time in forever the other day. Ahhh... I missed it! Gotta love that Java Chip frappuccino. haha!

~Goodness I'm so glad I just decided not to do my reflection. I'm not in the mood and I don't feel like it. You have to do 6 for the semester so I'm just going to do one in three weeks instead of doing one this week and then It will all work out.

~My group meeting was wonderful! We decided on a lot of things. We're going to try and get a poet to come to Omaha and speak, we're trying tog et a few other speakers for our big march/rally. I'm so excited! Everything is coming together perfectly.

~I didn't do as bad as I could of on these tests and thank goodness. tip of the day: I will be studying a lot for the next tests. Especially in Psychology class. Haven't gotten my test back for Womens Studies but I think I did okay. I'm not real worried.

~ Part of me doesn't want to go to psychology lecture class, but I know I have to be a good student and try right? right! so I'm going. End of story.

~At least it isn't as stressful as last week. I had 4 tests and I thought I was going to go clam chowder crazy! But I got a B on one of my tests so I'm happy. we'll see how the other ones go. I'm hoping for a good grade. *crosses fingers*

~My group is going wonderfully. Today our advisor is going to be coming in to talk to us. I hope everything works out and that everything we want to accomplish within the group happens.

~I have a report for my Womens Studies class due Wednesday at noon. I'm gonna be a trooper and get a head start on it, but not today. Tomorrow, I'll have more time to do it and so I will.

~papa deficiency....haha you know? the first time I saw that movie, I fell asleep and only watched half of it, the second time seeing it with you guys, it was a lot funnier.

~I think the mall will be calling my name later... I always love the mall. Not necessarily because I like the place, because I don't exactly. But, I always love Target and I love to look at clothes. Plus, Barnes and Nobles has become a little bit of a favorite to me. And with the starbucks there, why wouldn't it? haha... after lunch maybe or before my 3:00 class? I think so!!

~I've decided that I think I might get the Jonas Brothers CD. I know they are a younger group and I usually frown upon younger boy groups(like dreamstreet??? ugh...) but the Jonas Brothers are actually pretty good. And their concert is going to be on Disney Saturday. Yeah... I may be a college student but I can still be a Disney geek! and that I am.

~Let me set the record straight, under no circumstance am I prejudice against redheads or any other group of individuals. And I don't have a chocolate milk buddy anymore. I don't like any of them. I just think they are a good group. And no I don't like the Tae Kwan Do teacher either... thank you very much! And no, for the last time, Michael and I are NOT together. I don't know why everyone asks that... geez!
