Well, today was our first day having Jenna. She is three. She and her family came to visit with us a couple of times before she was to start here. Zowie babysat her once at her house a couple of nights ago, and Jenna cried when Zowie came home that night. Oh yeah, I am sorry. We are "big girl sitting," because Jenna is not a baby any more. She is so excited to be here with us, and we are very excited over having a little girl with us again.
We are teaching her to clear her side of the table when she is done eating. She is getting it nicely. She also helps to pick up her toys.
We brought her for a walk toaday, and to the playground. We played with her and read to her. Then she fell asleep on me.
It was a nice day.
The family is on a waiting list for help with childcare expenses. Until their name comes up, I am only charging them $2.00 an hour, to be paid on Fridays. I will not have Jenna most holidays and weekends. I will have her Monday through Friday.
During the school year I will still have my nephews Monday afternoons and Saturdays, full time during any vacations, as well as snow and sick days and if Isaiah starts getting suspended again.
In other words, I will be working 6 days a week, with Sunday being my only day off.
