Tiany's Chronicles

My friend Candy is doing a week long series of posts called "Candy’s Chronicles" she is listing everything she does from the time she wakes till she retires for the night , she has asked her readers to play along. There was no way I was going to be able to post daily on what we do all day as it would be much too time consuming (plus I would bore you to death!) I have however decided to share one day from our week (yesterday) so here it goes… In bullets! Oh and yes I had a pen and pad near me all day cause I would not have remembered the half of this! We are going to start at the very beginning of the day 
- 12:30am up to feed Noah
- 4 am up to feed Noah (I think he is teething and very itchy from the eczema , poor baby!)
- I wake for the day at 6:20 and read from my current Bible study "The Power Of Motherhood" if you have never read it RUN and get this book!
- I got dressed and groomed and started the coffee.
- Started the laundry
- 7am all boys except Noah wake or are aloud to come out of their rooms (they have been awake since 6:30)
- I change Ashton (who should be potty trained!) Micah and Dominick get dressed with clothes we laid out night before.
- Boys go to playroom for a bit while I make breakfast ~ scrambled eggs with ham, toast and a glass of milk!
- finish up breakfast and we all help in doing the table chores.
- Everyone has a vitamin I take my "Super Mom" vitamins!
- Put laundry in dryer, throw in another load
- 8:30am Noah wakes , I change Noah
- Boys go to brush teeth and wash hands after breakfast
- Boys go to play in playroom for a bit while I nurse Noah
- Papa wakes, makes our bed (he is the bed maker )
- Papa starts his coffee and has a quick espresso
- Noah goes in excersauser , Ashton plays quietly with blocks and colors while Dominick and Micah come to the Island to start lessons. (Papa helped with lessons today
) -
- Boys take a break, Dominick & Micah go outside to ride bikes for a half hour while I feed Noah some oatmeal and fruit!
- 10:30 Boys come in sweaty and smelly, get a drink have a snack then we all sit down for our Bible study. We read from our character training books and read a few pages from our children’s Bible.
- 11:00 I nurse Noah and he takes a short nap 30 mins.
- Dominick gets on the computer while Micah and I do his phonics lessons (I’m holding Noah or he is in the bouncy seat and Ashton is hanging over Dominick’s shoulder watching him on the puter)
- Papa plays a game of Marbles with the boys while I fold clothes , then I jump on the computer to check my email
- 12:30 Lunch! A plate of sandwiches and grapes

- Boys watch "Timmy and Lassie" (I love the Discovery Kids channel) while I finish up laundry and do some other chores around the house
- boys help with some laundry and then play for 20 minutes and do a 10 minute tidy.
- 1:30 Nap time Ashton takes a nap, Micah and Dominick must nap or have quiet time coloring, listening to a children’s story on Cd or playing with blocks, Lego’s etc..
- 2:00 Noah goes down for Nap
- This is "My Time" 2 hours to do as I please, I put away all the laundry, I blogged and tried to fix my very slow blog! Troy napped with boys.
- 3:30 all boys get up have a snack, yogurt and a drink
- I nurse Noah then hand him over to Papa and Nana (She was off this day and helped a bunch with Noah)
- I and the oldest 3 go to the library check out 16 books and Micah finally gets his library card!!!

- 5:00 we are back home and boys quickly put on their swim trunks to play in the sprinklers with Nana
- Nana made dinner so I do not have to worry about that
- I continue with Laundry and some chores while troy and I watch the News
- 6:00 Troy usually leaves for work now but he was off today!
- 6:00 I feed Noah some solids
- Boys come in Nana baths them in shower
- 6:30 We all eat supper (Nana made Arroz Con Pollo)
- Table chores
- Boys brush teeth, get a last drink, go potty
- quickly clean up left out toys
- 7:40 pm I read 3 "My First Little House Books" while Nana watches Noah
- 8:10pm Micah , Dominick & Ashton are tucked into bed
- I bath & nurse Noah and put him to bed
- My mom cleaned the kitchen so I don’t have to (
Praise God for my Mother!) - 8:45 I do some end of the night tidying, put out the boys clothes for the next day
- We watch some TV
- 10:00 pm we watch the local news while im on the computer checking email and comments
- I 0:30 I take a quick shower, floss n brush teeth
- Blog till bed while we watch Night Line and Fox news!
- 11:45 we call it a night! Say our prayers and go night night till Noah wakes again!
- I know from the above it sounds like Troy and I don’t talk much
(lots of evening News watching) , he is home with us all day 5 days a week, and only works a few hours in the late evening a couple days a week and at Church on the weekends. We are blessed to have him home with us. We are best friends, we play, laugh, work, and train together everyday! Yea, we squabble here and there too
This was a late night and a busy day for us since Nana was home.
We have been trying to go to bed around 10:30 ~ 11:00. If I can get 7 hours of sleep im doing good! Not all days are the same, some more hectic and busy then others!
Mind you I did not remember when or where to fit in all the times I got frustrated, had to pray for Patience, had to say Stop!, Don’t tease your brother!, Get OFF your brother, please obey the first time you are told, please don’t make me call your name more then once, say your sorry, etc.., etc.. ,etc..! 
I also did not fit in all the hugs, kisses, I love you’s, cuddles, laughs, giggles and moments that I tried to freeze a memory to last forever.
Just a plain ole day in the life of a homeschool Mama and Papa! It gets rough around here at times but we love it!
