(Ignore the dates. I didn't realize the date settings were messed up on my camera.)
Somebody dropped off this mama kitty and two others at our farm last year. She has always been a bit aloof, but seemed to really love the chickens. It just made me chuckle when she even had her own kittens in the nesting box with the chickens.
I saw the title to your blog and had to come check it out. There's just something about those farm people that you gotta love (we're farm people :-) . The cat and kitten picture is too cute. Wish we could have one...we need another mouser right now. I noticed your a Randy Alcorn fan. We loved his book Safely Home and also of course Heaven. I enjoyed reading your entries! Blessings, Julie
Country life is really living! I enjoyed your pictures and smile with you about the discovery! Every day holds surprises and the Lord over and over teaches us more about himself through His marvelous creation! Whether a snapping turtle wanders into our yard or a skink leaps into the open door and wildly dashes for cover there are unexpected events that make home the sweetest place on earth for the family! We have had to get up in the middle of the night to catch one of our rabbits that got loose-so the adventure continues and we have God's help to solve life's problems and emergencies! I just wanted to add how much I appreciate the ways to encourage the homeschool families and have a sweet word for even those that seem to "give up!" Come by for a visit sometime!!
Awwwww.....
So glad I don't live beside you now becuz we'd have us a couple new kittens. And i really like my hubbie and think he'd leave if we had any more kitties.
