Aug. 26, 2006 - I know I know...
I am horrible at this blog thing. Either I can't think of something to write about or I am too busy to sit down and write. Well this time it is a bit of both. Just waiting till my shipment gets here then we will be starting school for the year, so not too much to talk about on that front, yet. As for the busy side, we are in the middle of our birthday stretch. Our nephew's was the 18th, M's was the 19th, friends daughter was the 20th (and they all turned 3). Mine is tomorrow the 27th, C's is September 5th, as is FIL's, and my mom's is September 9th. Its also a crazy time at Dh's work because he works at the local university and all of the students moved in this week and he needs to prepare for the upcoming basketball season as well. And to top it all off the boys and I all have a cold. Thank God the morning (all day)sickness has subsided for the most part. So as you can see it has been insane here.
Now here is a question... Does everyone get a bit depressed on their birthday? I know I do. And I know its not because I'm getting old or anything, I mean heck I'm only going to be 24. I just always get bummed, every year. I'm sure this year will be no exception, if not worse. I'm pg and hormones are raging I'll be in tears for most of the day I am sure. Every phone call that I don't get from family members that forgot will hurt more. I hope it can be a nice day. My mom is making dinner and a cake of my choice (I picked a black forest cherry cake). I know that My birthday shouldn't matter that much. I guess you just want that one day to be about you for a change. Especially when you are a mother and everything (and I mean everything) is about someone else. Ok I think I am done feeling sorry for myself.
I am going to go and rest now. Praying for a nice day tomorrow, although the weather is miserable here this weekend. Well good luck to everyone starting school. I will try to keep up better with this thing. I know I have the blogs I like to read everyday and you always hope for a new post. So if I do have any loyal readers out there I will try to be better.
