Vibrant Faith

Psalm 36:5-9

Psalm 36:5-9

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;

your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.

6Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,

your justice like the ocean depths.

You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.

7How precious is your unfailing love, O God!

All humanity finds shelter

in the shadow of your wings.

8You feed them from the abundance of your own house,

letting them drink from your rivers of delight.

9For you are the fountain of life,

the light by which we see.

Why does God allow us to spend so much of life in the heat of battle?  Because He never meant for us to sip His Spirit like a proper cup of tea.  He meant for us to hold our sweating hands over the fountain and lap up His life with unquenchable thirst.  -Beth Moore

Our friends have moved back to THailand and started a 24 hr house of prayer in Bangkok. It's called the South East Asia House of Prayer. (SEAHOP) I'm not familiar with THailand or how big the country is but they'd love to meet you.

Since we don't have the "friends" feature on HSB anymore, I'm behind on my friends! So here I am clicking each name individually and playing catch up. Your blog is always an inspiriation.

Today the preacher at church addressed this issue - no pain no gain - and if we never felt the heat of the battle we may well forget how much we really need God. He will do whatever it takes to purify us and make us like Him, and save us eternally. Blessings to you, I have missed you. ~Colleen~

Oh I love this portion on scripture...so full of God's amazing abundant love!

This verse goes so well with what I blogged about ...our one year celebration...come and meet my family!
