Hello once again!\u00a0 Not long after my last post and shortly before Thanksgiving, my laptop decided to crash.\u00a0 After working on it for several days myself and also my son, I took it to have a professional look at it.\u00a0 He informed me that it would probably take a few hundred dollars to “possibly” retrieve my lost files.\u00a0 I decided to forgo his services as the laptop is several years old.\u00a0 My son and I are trying something else and may be able to eventually retrieve part of the files.\u00a0 I know that isn’t many details, but hopefully, it will let you know that I have been in a computer limbo for the past month, and now I am trying to adjust to a new computer.\u00a0 Thankful for the Christmas discounts on the purchase.<\/p>\n

So onward I march with a short update.\u00a0 We have finished our homeschool semester and the semester at our homeschool co-op.\u00a0 My oldest is home from college until mid-January.\u00a0 My two youngest sons and I attended a local Christmas tree lighting.\u00a0 \u00a0We had our traditional family “Christmas Feast”.\u00a0 We started doing this many years ago when our holidays were filled with too much running around to relatives’ homes.\u00a0 Don’t get me wrong, we enjoyed the time with them, but we wanted to do something at our house too.\u00a0 Some years it has been a meal centered around dishes from our history or geography studies.\u00a0 This year it was just a nice meal together at a time when no one had to be at work.\u00a0 So last Sunday afternoon, I set the table with some of my “good dishes,” and we had a good meal.\u00a0 This past Monday, I attended a Christmas event that was very lovely, and I had a very good time.\u00a0 Pair all of that up with preparing for Christmas, church services, and more doctor appointments than I wish for my boys and my dad.\u00a0 Also, my husband and I have just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary!\u00a0 Whew!\u00a0 I often feel like I’m too busy, and now you know part of the reason why.\u00a0 I would rather be busy than bored, though.\u00a0 If I don’t post again before Christmas, I wish all of you the most wonderful of holidays!\u00a0 Don’t forget to celebrate Christ’s birth.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
