I would feature pictures of little projects they would do and milestones they reached. Sometimes, I would throw in a recipe. I miss those days. Time rolls on, and social media has changed how we put things online. So this isn’t really one of those posts. Just catching up with life a little.

My oldest will be graduating college soon and is also looking to transition to full-time work at his current job. His life is full of big events this year. Along with working more with the youth at church, he is… GETTING MARRIED! It’s great, and I am so happy for them both. They make a great couple; I pray they have a wonderful life together.

My second son is also doing well. He works full-time and plans to get more training/education soon. He has accomplished something that many in his generation are having a hard time doing: He purchased property. It isn’t something he can move to right away, as it will need some work to clear a spot for a home for him. It also gives him land to hunt on. He killed his first deer last year and enjoys hunting.

The older of the twins is working hard at many things. His last couple of years homeschooling, his hardware job, and fixing things with motors. The school work has been going well, and he is pretty happy at his job. In his “free” time, he “works on junk.” LOL. He is actually getting quite good at fixing cars and mowers and such.

The other twin is also working hard at his school work, as he is doing a second semester of dual enrollment. He works in fast food but would love to find a job that would be more suited to his computer interests. He’s my IT support, for sure.

All four boys are active in church in different ways and are a real blessing to all.

My husband and I are getting older, too. It comes to us all. Things are moving right along, though. The opportunity I had mentioned in my last post, I’m still pondering a bit. I’m thinking that when school ends, I may go forward with that. Start with a website and see what comes along next is what I’m thinking at this point. I’m not sure how things will go as I still have a lot of research to do. I’ve also realized (now more than ever) how things are rapidly changing within the homeschool community. The growth, the access to resources, the online opportunities, and the whole wild government involvement and how everything has changed and is in the process of changing is absolutely mind-blowing. Once I have everything going with the actual site, it will be a challenge to get my idea across to those I need to reach. It’s a lot of work for me, but I think I will enjoy the process and the challenge. We will just keep praying about it and see how all of that goes.

Once upon a time, I would blog weekly about how school was going, our adventures, field trips, and other such things.
