HomeschoolBlogger.com has been a gathering place for homeschooling voices for many years. On November 1, 2025, this site will close. We’re grateful for the content you’ve shared and the connections you’ve helped build.
What you should do now
Export or save your blog content before Nov 1, 2025.
After closure, account access and site content will no longer be available.
If you have your own HSB blog (WordPress):
Log in to your blog’s WordPress dashboard.
Go to Tools → Export.
Choose All content (or pick Posts/Pages).
Click Download Export File to save the .xml
(WXR) file.
Optional: To keep your media files, download the /uploads/
folder via your media library or copy images from your posts to your computer.
Later, you (or a new host) can import this file into another WordPress site via Tools → Import → WordPress.
Copy your important posts into a document (Google Docs, Word) and save images you want to keep.
For short items, screenshots are fine if that’s faster.
Now–Oct 31, 2025: Export or save content.
Nov 1, 2025: Site closes.
We’ll continue building community through The Old Schoolhouse® and other channels. Stay tuned for ways to connect, learn, and share.
