Make Him the Head of your home, your Guide and Counselor. It&#8217;s important to have a family worship time, but it&#8217;s also important for each member of the family to have his or her own devotional time.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll admit, it didn&#8217;t always happen while my children were growing up, even though I tried hard to be consistent. It can be as simple as reading a Bible passage and having prayer. Or it can be more extensive, with Bible reading, singing a few songs, working on memorizing a Bible passage together, and prayer time. Some families may choose to use a devotional book.
