They offer uninterrupted time and space to focus on family relationships, usually in a relaxed and peaceful setting.<\/p>\n<p>Some of my favorite vacations while I was growing up were trips to the Outer Banks, The Smokies, and trips to see my grandparents. Others I remember were Christmas in Santa Fe, and a trip to the Grand Canyon.<\/p>\n<p>Some of my favorite vacations in my adult years (many of them just &#8220;mini vacations&#8221;) were trips to Glacier or Yellowstone National Parks, or camping trips up in the Bob Marshal Wilderness. There were also vacations to Missouri, and Florida, when we lived in Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>Does your family take annual vacations? Or mini vacations?
