This is our new dog Dodge. We actually got her one month ago, but about half an hour after we got home she ran off into the field, and we didn’t see her again until 1 week later when my brother saw her in the field next to us. When we identified it was her I went inside to make sure she wouldn’t run away again. After a bit she was inside the front porch and munching on some food. She was wet, covered in ticks, and super skittish. Now we can pet her freely without her curling her mouth at us.
Aww! That is rough. That happened to us one time with a Great Dane. It ran off as soon as we got home. This was pre-kids, and my husband and I were so bummed. So glad she came back and she has become more tame!
