Two fluffy angora bunnies

The Angora Rabbits

Posted on May 1, 2024May 2, 2024

These are my aunts angora rabbits. Fern is the gray bunny and the white one is named Luna. She picked these rabbits before she Moved here to Saskatchewan.

Angoras need a lot more care than other rabbit breeds to maintain  a healthy coat of fur. Sunflower seeds will provide the angora with oil to keep the fur fresh. They require much more nutrients from hay so it’s better to feed them timothy hay instead regular hay. In my opinion angoras are to much work for a pet, I would much rather have a lion head than an angora.

The white rabbit in the back is named Juniper.
