This is our new little baby piggy and her name is Pumpkin. We got her three days ago at a farm just down the road from where we live. But the day after we got them a guy drove up to our house and said that he saw two little pigs running up the road in the dich, we were able to capture Pumpkin but the other little piggy Blessing is her name got away.
Both Pumpkin and Blessing are kunekune pigs. The reason we got this breed was because they are much better for home steading, kunekune pigs don’t root up the ground like other pigs do, and they can survive on hay and greens as their main food source.
Kunekune pigs are a much more hairy breed of pig so they are better in cold and windy climates like Saskatchewan.
