We see a repeated pattern of loving God and obedience fueled by that love. Jesus begins to roll out His introduction to the Holy Spirit, the new Comforter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our scripture writing verse from The Ruffled Mango is Luke 6:37&#8230;one that is often misused for its first two words, &#8220;judge not&#8221;. There is an important element of humility not often considered. Be reminded that we are called to exhort one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Streams in the Desert tells us of &#8220;A Simple Prayer&#8221;&#8211;a lesson in childlike faith. A wonderful thing to pray for&#8230;the ability to pray knowing God has already answered. Tozer in the Morning speaks of &#8220;World and Kingdom Status&#8221;. Timely reminders. The ground is level at the foot of the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our excerpt from Faith&#8217;s Checkbook by Spurgeon asks &#8220;Who Has the Majority?&#8221; More important reminders of faith. I&#8217;m convicted by the question Jesus put to His disciples, &#8220;Where is your faith?&#8221; It should &#8220;lift us above all fear&#8221;.<br>Our prayer scripture is Deut. 7:9. Our God is faithful and keeps His covenants (promises).
