A little oopsie in the beginning…I tell you it’s October 26th and then that it is the 21st. Sorry about that! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in Romans 10 this morning. Conversion is comprised of agreeing with God about what He says about Himself, ourselves, sin, and redemption…and then believe it. God is rich unto all who call upon Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continue working on memorizing Psalm 103:1-4 and this morning we write Psalm 139:1-6 on the theme of rejoicing in the Lord from the list found at the Sweet Blessings site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Streams in the Desert has us spending “An Hour in the Garden” regarding how the Lord Jesus set the example to find solitude regularly. Make sure to throw your apron over your head today! \ud83d\ude42 Tozer then finds us “Gazing Upon Christ” and considering “what long continued self assurance will do to a human character”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spurgeon’s Faith’s Checkbook’s entry is “Because of Us”–the kindness, preservation, provision that is granted to the world’s population because of the Christian element that is still present among its population. We are called to be salt…and salt preserves. This is one way that this process takes place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we close with Matthew 12:36 as our prayer scripture, on self control about our speech, and we close with the passage from The Valley of Vision entitled “Belonging to Jesus”. “Faith is nothing else but receiving Thy kindness.”
