Yay, it’s Friday! \ud83d\udcd6\ud83c\udf3b\u2615<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we read 1 Corinthians 7 speaking of purity, honor, and God’s purposes in our relationships, and we finish practicing Psalm 103:1-6 together. Our scripture writing is 1 Timothy 6:10. Is money itself “the root of all evil”?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Unadorned Life” is the topic for today’s portion from Streams in the Desert–“perhaps he whose plot is next to thine will see it and mend his own”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tozer writes about “The Witness of the Spirit” in Morning & Evening with Tozer: “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God” (Rom. 8:16). Faith’s Checkbook discusses how it is that “Sanctified Souls are Satisfied”. God must both convert and content us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attribute we look at this morning for our prayer time is God’s holiness, and we close with the hymn text, “Holy, Holy, Holy” by Reginald Heber (1826).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
