Happy up-n-over day! Let’s start it with some encouragement! \ud83d\udcd6\ud83c\udf3b\u2615 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are reading in 2 Peter 1 this morning, considering our testimony and our example, which is sort of a theme in today’s resources. We meet up with that Proverbs 31 woman in our scripture writing passage today, Proverbs 31:30-31, and I offer some hope for us all concerning meeting up to her standards. And we continue memorizing Matthew 5:3-5 from the Beatitudes together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Streams in the Desert shares a beautiful story, “Flowers in the Canyon”, reminding us that the richest and rarest blooms are very often the result of trial and hardship. Tozer writes about “Obeying God” and touches on some differences between the ideas of reformation and regeneration that are worth revisiting in our thoughts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spurgeon in Faith’s Checkbook discusses what it looks like to be “To Others An Ensample”, experiencing the peace of God as we live out our faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our hymn text is a song written by Joe Zichterman, “Be An Example”. We are called to show others who Jesus is. As the saying goes, “You are the only Bible some people will ever read.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
