Happy April 1st! I’m happy you’re here–no foolin’! \ud83d\udcd6\ud83c\udf3b\u2615 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our schedule has us reading Revelation 2 this morning–“I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love…be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life…And I will give him the morning star.” I’ll give you some info on Antipas, mentioned in this chapter. We begin our new scripture writing list from The Ruffled Mango on the topic, “Spiritual Warfare” with Genesis 3:1-4. And we finish out this week practicing Matthew 5:3-7 with a little fill-in-the-blank game. \ud83d\ude42 We’ll add verse 8 to this memory passage on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Streams in the Desert encourages us to “Hold Fast, and Trust”–“In fierce storms,\u201d said an old seaman, \u201cwe must do one thing; there is only one way: we must put the ship in a certain position and keep her there.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tozer tells us about “The Heavy Responsibility of Sheep-Feeding”–“When a preacher is not preaching to a given situation, it is like giving medicine to people indiscriminately.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spurgeon discusses “The King’s Highway”–“God’s way must be the best way. Follow it though men think you a fool, and you will be truly wise.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our hymn text today speaks of this wisdom–“God Works in a Mysterious Way, His Wonders to Perform” by William Cowper. We’ll begin our new resource, “52 Weeks of Praying for Your Family” on Monday (I’ll post the link here in the Facebook group). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
