Okay, friends, I promised 9am (my time), and by God’s grace we’ll make it!<\/p>\n

Today we read the first half of Psalm 10, considering the life and character of those who oppose God. This is a sobering psalm, a companion psalm to the one that precedes it. We are writing Isaiah 62:3-4 today regarding “True Beauty”, and memorizing Proverbs 2:1-2 this week. Proverbs 17 is our chapter for today as we make our way through “a proverb a day”.<\/div>\n

Grace for Today’s devotional is a beautiful reminder of “Christ our Surety” (a theme which comes up again in today’s Hymnary)-“He will open the Lamb\u2019s book of life, which was written before the world began, and pointing to their names one by one, he will say, \u2018Those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost.”<\/div>\n

In My Utmost for His Highest, we are instructed regarding “His Ascension and Our Access”–‘His Cross is the door by which every member of the human race can enter into the life of God; by His resurrection He has the right to give eternal life to anyone, and by His ascension our Lord entered heaven, keeping the door open for humanity.”<\/div>\n

We look at how to apply Matt. 7:21 to our worshipful service in our homes for our prayer time, and our Hymnary is “Arise My Soul, Arise” by Charles Wesley.<\/div>\n
