We have Ps. 26:8-12 for our scripture writing passage, as David requests that he not be &#8220;swept out&#8221; with those who practice wickedness. And we practice our memory passage, Proverb 2:1-5 this week.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Simpson, in Days of Heaven on Earth, reminds us how God made provision for the children of Israel on their way out of Egypt, and how we should have a heart full of faith that God will also meet our needs&#8211;&#8220;Our Saviour, at Cana, ordered the water-pots to be filled to the brim. Then the water was made into wine, but not until the vessels were full. God wants His children to have always a full heart.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In My Utmost for His Highest, Chambers discusses &#8220;Our Greatest Source of Power&#8221;&#8211;&#8220;Am I allowing my spiritual life to waste away, or am I focused, bringing everything to one central point\u2014 the atonement of my Lord? &#8230;then every aspect of my life will bear fruit for Him.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We look at how we find &#8220;knowledge&#8221; as the &#8220;bookends&#8221; for the book of 2 Peter, as we consider our prayer scripture in 3:18, and then we find this idea of divine knowledge present in our verse from Hymn 16 in &#8220;Hymns and Meditations&#8221; by Anna L.
