The greenhouse project. This will be quite the undertaking but I am so excited to see the final result and have decided to document it here, on HomeschoolBlogger.com. I have been blogging for over ten years at Thriftschooling.com but this topic seems to deserve its own dedicated space; so here we go! I plan to share as many steps of this process that I can, so come and join in on the fun!
Several months ago we purchased a used greenhouse frame. As you can see it is over 100 feet long. The first part of the process was tearing it down and transporting it to our house. It was a whole day process but we got it done!

Once it was loaded and brought to our home we had to purchase a covering for it which involved a several hour trip to a greenhouse company. This helped save on shipping costs tremendously! The next step? Clearing out space on our property for it! This is where we are now. Most of the land has been cleared and the ground has been leveled. We even had to get the telephone company involved to help us move poles and wires that were hindering construction. Now that the land is almost ready we can soon begin to build. More details coming soon . . .
How exciting! I’m looking forward to your greenhouse updates.
