Recently I came across this Substack article (“My Journey as a ‘Trans-Parent’ Mom“) and recommend that all parents, especially Christians, take the time to read and consider carefully.
One counselor, Rebecca Blomker, said that these kinds of stories are surfacing in every area of society – including Christian homeschool circles.
I obviously don’t have all the answers, but I do think that we should prayerfully consider adding this to our list of “things to discuss” with our children when the right times and situations present themselves.
This should not be a one-and-done conversation, but an ongoing discussion as we carefully listen to our children’s hearts and their honest questions.
