This morning we are reminded of the value of the “odd sparrow” and the lack of value that is found in all of the stuff in our storage units. We add verse 7 to Psalm 121, our current scripture memory passage.
Streams of the Desert tells how how “Faith Grows Amid Storms”. Tozer joins us as we “Press Toward the Goal Ahead”, and in Faith’s Checkbook Spurgeon asks “Whom, When, How to Deliver?” I loved this: “He delivers in a way which is most beneficial to the godly, most crushing to the tempter, and most glorifying to Himself.”
We have a very familiar passage for our reminder in prayer on the theme of hope, and we finish today with a hymn text from 1774 by William Cowper, “God Moves in a Mysterious Way”.Thanks for joining me this morning! 🌞
