Today, we read through Luke 19 and meet Zaccheus. We watch the Triumphal Entry and also the cleansing of the Temple.
Scripture writing for today is Romans 14:19–how do you edify/build up those around you? “Degrees of Faith” is our topic in our Streams in the Desert reading, and we speak of “fleeces”. Have you ever “put out a fleece”? “When is the Time to Trust?” is the poem at the end of today’s passage.
Tozer addresses “Religion Deterioration”, and Spurgeon writes that we shall “Shine As Many Stars” in Faith’s Checkbook. Do you know the gospel song, “Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown”?
Our prayer scripture is Jeremiah 17:7, speaking of the blessing that belongs to those who hope in the Lord. We close with “Love to Jesus” from The Valley of Vision. May God “eclipse all our personal glory” today.
