Happy Thursday! How can I pray for you today? 📖☕🌻
Today we read Luke 20, and the scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees are very busy people, trying to catch Jesus in His words and behavior. Our scripture writing verse is Romans 15:5. He is the God of patience and of consolation. Are we walking in His steps?
Streams in the Desert reminds us that “God is Waiting Upon Us”. God is good, even (or especially!) in His delays. “Lord, Give Me Yourself” is Tozer’s request this morning–“To give God back to us was the chief work of Christ in redemption.”
“An Eternal Pledge” is our topic in Faith’s Checkbook, and we consider our betrothal as part of the Bride of Christ. Our prayer scripture is Psalm 71:14–hope continually and praise Him more and more.We close with the hymn text, “I Will Praise Thee”.
