First day of the week, and the last week of the month! 📖🌻☕
Today, we begin Week 14 of our “Through the New Testament in a Year” schedule, reading in Luke 22. We learn that the ministry of teachers and preachers etc. is for the mending/repair of the body of Christ.
We start our new memory passage today, Philippians 2:3-11.
We are “Waiting for Hope” in our reading from Streams in the Desert, being encouraged to pray for the power of Gethsemane when we are accustomed to praying for the power of the resurrection.
Tozer introduces us to “Footprints in Song” today. Do you have good hymn books at your fingertips? So very powerful. And Faith’s Checkbook speaks of “A Change of Name”. Do you know the song, “There’s a New Name Written Up in Glory”?
The scripture from our free prayer journal is 1 Peter 1:13, “gird up, be sober, and hope”. We close with “May the Mind of Christ My Savior” as our hymn text for this Monday.
