It’s Friday! 📖🌻☕
Today we read from John 12–Lazarus is sitting with Jesus at the table. Raised from the dead, and alive and breathing and laughing and talking together with Him. Just amazing. No wonder that “the world is gone after Him”! And still, there were some who refused to believe and/or were completely blind to His miracles. Keep that in mind as you share the gospel.
Scripture writing takes us to Matthew 18:21,22–Peter thinks he’s being generous by volunteering to forgive up to 7 times. Jesus raises the bar. Don’t forget that our scripture memory portion will include Phil 2:3-6 for next week.
“In the Clouds” is our topic for Streams in the Desert this morning. “Mercy drops ’round us are falling…but for the showers we plead.” Tozer’s morning excerpt reminds us to “Give God the Control” and “Before and During the Call” is Spurgeon’s topic in Faith’s Checkbook, considering a favorite verse of mine–Isaiah 65:24.
