Good morning! A little later with our start today, but I know it will be worth the wait. Some amazing and inspiring content today! 📖🌻☕
We read from Acts 16 about Paul’s imprisonment in Rome and his miraculous release from the jail–and the resulting conversion of his jailer and family. It begs the question…would we sing and praise God while sitting the the deepest dungeon of a prison, fastened in chains and stocks?
We finish Philippians 2:3-10 this week. We’ll add on verse 11 beginning on Monday and then the following week we’ll begin a new passage together. Our scripture writing verse on servanthood is Luke 3:10-11. So many in need today…how can we help?
Streams in the Desert inspires us to “see God in everything”…a wonderful prayer to pray throughout the day! Tozer has some strong words exhorting his readers to grow “From Spiritual Infancy to Maturity” and Spurgeon turns our eyes to the palms and cedars to learn a lesson from their evergreen endurance and the strength that presses them ever upward.
Romans 8:38-39 is our prayer scripture today, and I share a fascinating hymn history and then the text of one of my favorite hymns, “The Love of God”. I pray you’ll be blessed today!
