Happy Thursday, friends! You get today’s Quiet Time Corner hot off the press, as they say! Join me?
We read in Acts 25 about the rulers all passing the buck when it comes to hearing Paul’s case and bringing judgment upon him. Paul remains steadfast and courageous.
Our scripture writing passage on rejoicing is Joel 2:23-24…anticipation of God’s blessings…and we continue working on Psalm 103:1 as we memorize God’s Word together.
Streams in the Desert offers comfort and admonition in the words, “Don’t Rush”. Tozer reminds us that “Christ Came to Save” and Spurgeon explains how Christ is “Always First in Fellowship”.
We finish today with our prayer scripture from the Proverbial Homemaker–1 Peter 4:7, and a hymn text which follows that same theme of being watchful, “Will Jesus Find Us Watching” by prolific hymn writer Fanny Crosby.
