Thanksgiving Eve! Do you do any baking/prep today? I’m going to try and get my pies and rolls done today. 🥧🥧🥧 It’s going to be a busy day, so let’s get right into it!
We are in 1 Corinthians 15. A bit longer reading today, and you’ll probably recognize some familiar verses regarding The Lord’s Supper and the truth and power of the resurrection of Christ. We continue memorizing Psalm 103:1-9, and we are writing Luke 12:20,21 on the theme of Contentment. Let’s be “rich toward God”.
Streams in the Desert instructs us regarding “The Power of Silence”…learning to be still and quiet can be so healthful for us! Tozer writes about “Winter Experiences”…some deep and beautiful thoughts. In Faith’s Checkbook, we consider “Pardon and Forgiveness” and he discusses, coincidentally, Psalm 103:9. 🙂
We end today by considering God’s attribute of God as our Comforter and we look at the hymn text, “O God, the Holy Spirit” by David L. Ward after being inspired by a portion of The Valley of Vision (“God, the Holy Spirit”).
