Grateful for God’s faithfulness this Tuesday. You too? Let’s praise Him together. 📖🌻☕
We are reading in Titus 2 today…I hope to be that kind of woman who is a “teacher of good things” in word and also by example. I’m very blessed to have some fine role models. Our scripture writing passage for this day is Psalm 33:4-5, reminding us of God’s faithfulness in that His words are always true, always right. We continue to work on Psalm 103:1-20 together.
Streams in the Desert compares “Hope vs. Fear”–“He has kept you hitherto; do you but hold fast to His dear hand, and He will lead you safely through all things; and when you cannot stand, He will bear you in His arms.” Tozer to “Just Do It” which reminds me of 2 Cor. 8:11–““Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have.”
Spurgeon discusses “Joyful Security”–“Fearful is our danger, but joyful is our security. The man whom God upholds, devils cannot throw down.” We finish today by looking at Psalm 100 for our prayer time. What chases away fears and anxiety more than worship and being reminded that He is our Good Shepherd? To accompany this scripture passage, we look at the hymn text, “All People That On Earth Do Dwell” (known by some as the Doxology), by William Kethe, one of the translators of the Geneva Bible back in 1560.
Thanks for joining me today, and for your patience and prayers.
