It’s Wednesday, friends! Up and over! 🙂 Let’s see what God has for us today. 📖🌻☕
Hebrews 3 is our chapter to read this morning…many anchoring truths, especially in the latter part, verses 12-16. How many of those verses have you committed to memory? We are writing John 13:1 this morning, being reminded of the faithfulness of the Lord Jesus who loved His own unto the end. And…we practice Psalm 103:1-21 as per usual. 🙂
Streams in the Desert has some wonderful encouragement about our trials and that “Weeping May Last for a Night”–“There may be today “a great calm.” Who knows how soon those raging billows will give place to a sea of glass, and the sea birds sit on the gentle waves?”
Tozer writes today about Peter in “From Failure to Radical Transformation”–I can SO relate to Peter, can’t you? Spurgeon says to us, “You Deal with God”–“You have a God to deal with and not a hard man, or even a merely just man. No human being could have patience with you.” Wow, I feel that!
We finish with Zeph. 3:17 as our prayer scripture, revisiting the idea that God sings over us with joy (!). Our hymn text today is inspired by this verse–“O Thou, in All Thy Might So Far” by Frederick Lucian Hosmer, 1876.
Thanks for joining me today!
