It’s 2/22/22–so happy Twos-day! Let’s see what God has for us today in the Quiet Time Corner. 📖🌻☕
This morning we are reading in Hebrews 7, about our High Priest and the new covenant. We are writing 2 Thess. 3:3-5, this time about God’s faithfulness which enables our own faithfulness. We continue working through Psalm 103 in its entirety this week. Streams in the Desert today is about “Active Faith”–“You’ve just got to believe that He’s done it and it’s done.”
Tozer writes concerning “Sharing God’s Nature”–“God’s motives are always loving!”, and Spurgeon reminds us that “Past Deliverance Begets Faith”–“The LORD has been with us, He is with us, and He has said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee,” Why do we tremble?”
The passage for our prayer time today is Romans 8:32-39–what a wonderful thing the love of our God is! Nothing can separate us from Him!
We finish by looking at “There’s a Wideness in God’s Mercy” by Frederick Faber, best known for his text, “Faith of Our Fathers”.
