Today we read Psalm 9:1-10 together, which some believe was written concerning David’s victory over Goliath. Our verse for “True Beauty” from The Ruffled Mango is found in Isaiah 28:5-6–He is our crown…”worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness”. We practice Proverbs 2:1 for the final time, and will add verse two to our context on Monday.
Grace for Today admonishes us to “Remember Lot’s wife”–this nameless woman, whose life ended in such tragedy because although she was blessed with many spiritual privileges, her heart was divided in its devotion.
In My Utmost for His Highest, we learn about “The Habit of Keeping a Clear Conscience”–“He does not speak with a voice like thunder— His voice is so gentle that it is easy for us to ignore. And the only thing that keeps our conscience sensitive to Him is the habit of being open to God on the inside.”
We finish using Phil. 2:12 one last time to guide our prayers, and a special hymn text which speaks of how the Lord Jesus was “enthroned” upon the cross at Calvary.
I’m so glad you joined me this week! See you, Lord willing, on Monday!
