Time to finish this week, and this month! 
On Monday we’ll begin new scripture writing and prayer journal portions. Our scripture writing theme will be “Forgiveness” and the new prayer journal is on the topic of “Faithfulness”. Can’t wait! In August I’ll also begin a new “Bring the Books” series, reading “With Christ in the School of Prayer” by Andrew Murray.
We read chapter two in the gospel of John. The first miracle of Jesus. Do you know what it was? Our final scripture writing passage for July on the topic of Unity is Col. 3:14,15. Put on charity and let peace rule in your hearts.
Streams in the Desert exhorts us to “Do It Now”. What will we leave undone? Tozer explains the difference between “Faith and Fear”… are we “children of superstition”? Faith’s Checkbook we find hope in the “Promise of Future Meeting”…Jesus says, “I will see you again”. Our prayer journal passage on Hope is Philippians 1:6.
Our hymn text is a new one for me by August Toplady (writer of the hymn text, “Rock of Ages”) — “A Debtor to Mercy Alone”.
