Happy Thursday! 📖🌻☕
John 11 today–we witness the raising of Lazarus from the dead and see this amazing event as a foreshadowing of another even more monumental occasion to come!
Today’s scripture writing verse is Isaiah 66:2, speaking of the kind of person who finds God’s forgiveness. Again, I completely forgot our scripture memory passage this week. I was still a bit foggy on the day I recorded these. So please add verse 5 this week. 🙂
Streams in the Desert speaks of how His promises are “Meant to Be Used”. Tozer writes of “Our Only Grounds for Boasting”–how woeful to become a “cosmic pauper”! Faith’s Checkbook by Spurgeon is entitled “Light in the Darkness”. “He will speak me into the sunshine yet!”
Our prayer scripture is Psalm 31:23, and a special clarification of meaning. We finish today with the hymn text, “My Song”.
