Happy happy Tuesday! Let’s see what God has for us this morning! 📖🌻☕
We are finishing the epistles by John, reading 3 John today, and our scripture writing introduces us to Phoebe in Romans 16:1-2. Our scripture memory passage is Matthew 5:3-7 as we continue to memorize this early portion of the Sermon on the Mount.
Streams in the Desert encourages us to “Leave It With Him”–encouraging us to do less dictating and more releasing of our cares to God in prayer. Tozer reminds us that we are “Geared for Things Eternal”–“The Spirit-filled and Spirit-led congregation will be a joyful people. Beyond that, it will be useful and caring and compassionate!”
Spurgeon in Faith’s Checkbook exhorts us to have “Dauntless Faith”–“No man can harm us unless the Lord permits. He who makes the devil himself to flee at a word, can certainly control the devil’s agents. Maybe they are already more afraid of you than you are of them.”
We close with “Voyage” in The Valley of Vision–“May the world this day be happier and better because I live. Let my mast before me be the Savior’s cross.”
Thanks for joining me this morning! 🌞
