Time to suit up! đŸ“–Today we read in Luke 2–a very familiar passage often read at Christmas. Always look closer when reading familiar portions in your Bible. This book is alive and powerful…there is always something new for the Holy Spirit to teach us!
John 14:2,3 we see our Great Creator preparing a place for us. Streams in the Desert today tells us to “Challenge Thy Mountain in the Lord”. Tozer exhorts us in “Imitating the Imitators of God” and Spurgeon invites us to contemplate “The Lord’s ‘Much More'”…losses for the Lord are not losses. We are made to stop and consider how often we see gentleness in our current generation as we meditate on our prayer scripture this morning. We close with “The Gift of Gifts” (a wonderful companion to our Luke 2 reading) in The Valley of Vision. So beautiful and empowering!
